In this episode, I talk to Giovanna Leon, a Venezuelan photographer based in Switzerland. I asked her to come on this podcast because, for one, she’s become a friend of mine over the years, but also, she’s really one of the most experienced 20-somethings I know—you’ll see.

Giovanna shares her story of what it was like to be kicked out of Switzerland, falling into depression as a result, and giving her all to stay in a country that didn’t want her. We talk about therapy and different ways to cope, how we distract ourselves through eating, phone and social media addiction, or porn, and what strategies we use to manage emotions in a better way.
