In life we face trials, tribulations, test, losses, and wins. Often, we feel tried and tested more than we do in victory. Usually our victories feel short lived, to whereas some of the more difficult areas in life may last forever. Though we know this isn't true we can't help but feel this way with how much pressure we put upon ourselves. Life isn't easy and being a Christ follower never gave us a "get out of jail free" card.

Today we discuss and dive into the Word looking at the perspective of the many tests that we face day in and day out. Jesus said come to me all who are burdened and weary, and he would give us rest (Matthew 11:28). So why at time do we feel the need to take it all alone? Why having the Prince of Peace and the Holy Spirit to we still choose to fight a battle alone? Though we may feel like we're resting in God, we're actually relying on our own will instead of His will.

We aren't called to do the work alone, or even called to do the work period. We are called to know who gives us strength and to solely rely on Him to be what we need when we need it. If God is for us, then who can stand against us (Romans 8:31). Let us not rely on personal and physical strength for the tests and trials we face, but on our Saviors and the spiritual strength that has proven the test of time. Today we speak on the topic of serving and the service that it is to both us and others alike. Jesus didn't come to be served but instead to serve others. He wasn't worries about outward appearance or what life backgrounds anyone had. We must also follow this example on our daily lives as well. There are many missed opportunities that we may miss with serving others because of the ideas we create in our minds. Christ didn't care about any of that and neither should we, because when we do we limit the way God can use us to lift others up.

Serving is more than finances; it's more about time. Time is the ultimate blessing that God gives us and when He does we must use it to its full potential. Each day becomes a new opportunity for faith filled servitude and be at the forefront of our Christian walks. Letting go of our preconceived notions and allowing ourselves to see others the way God sees us all will allow us to tap into the true potential for spiritual miracles to come twice fold.
