This week we play off our Real To Reel movie and ask the question: Are cryptids relic survivors of extinct animals? People believe the Loch Ness Monster is a Plesiosamur, a marine reptile that died out 65 million years ago.There stories out of the Congo of dinosaur-like crypts that should also have died out millions of years ago and many believe that Sasquatch is, or at the very least, is the direct ancestor of the Gigantopithecus, which by all accounts died out around 300 thousands years ago. But that's just a start. There are countless cryptids from all over the world that seem to be survivors of ancient animals. So are they survivors or something else? There are certainly cryptos out there that clearly aren't prehistoric beasts so what are they? well in this weeks episode we try to answer some of these questions or at the very least direct them as best we can.
