At 50 years old, Jim Haliburton walked to his first property on a sunny day in 1991. Fast forward 35 years: he's owns over 100 HMO properties, pulled off a 220-bed mega-deal that finance companies laughed at, and is still buying properties today! Oh, and all 660 of his tenants have his personal mobile number (yes, really).
Growing up in the care system where showing excitement meant punishment, Jim broke every statistic by building a property empire. He doesn't sugarcoat the housing crisis, the staffing nightmares, or why he wishes he'd spent less time saving and more time living. Raw, honest, and unapologetically Scottish, this is what three decades of property investing actually looks like.
