Chloe Williams and I met while she was visiting Boston, from Florida, for a DJO show at Roadrunner where I do barricade security work from time to time. We had such a great conversation before the show, that I had to invite her on to talk music, film and the fact that her great uncle was a fiddle player who was instrumental in the classic "Devil went down to Georgia" tune by the good ol CDB.

Skip Shea is one of the most special of humans. Despite having suffered tremendous loss that no parent should ever experience after facing a childhood full of pain thanks to priests in the Catholic Church, Skip has turned all of that into some of the most powerful and beautiful art through his many movies. He also developed a film festival in honor of his daughter and through that not only showcases emerging filmmakers, but also helps women realize their visions of producing films of their own. He also produces two other film festivals, one in Boston and one in Italy. Our conversation touches on all of those subjects and more.
