  • A Star Is Born: Justin Wrobleski Pitches Near-Complete Game | Dodgers Post
    2026/04/14
The podcast hits a dozen, which is coincidentally the same number of wins the Dodgers have after 16 games, including their latest 4-0 rout of the Mets. As California Post Dodgers reporters Jack Harris and Dylan Hernandez tell it, this game was all about Justin Wrobleski, who nearly pitched a complete game, bit finished with a career-high eight scoreless innings. It was the best pitching performance for the Boys in Blue so far in 2026, and gives fans just another reason to feel hopeful on Dylan’s prediction of 120 wins. The Dodgers/Mets is baseball’s first billion dollar series, but shows a tale of two franchises. Still, the guys have a few concerns: Roki, of course; Kyle Tucker’s slump and Edwin Diaz’s struggles on the mound. And introducing a new Dodgers Post game: Does Dylan Know The Dodgers?

  • “We Were Playing Catch-up The Entire Game” | Dodgers Coach Dave Roberts Rewatches The Epic World Series Game 7
    2026/03/25
On Episode 9, California Post Dodgers reporters Jack Harris and Dylan Hernandez bring a special bonus pod to celebrate opening day, dissecting the epic Game 7 of the 2025 World Series with head coach Dave Roberts. The guys jump right into it with Shohei Ohtani on the mound in the third inning. “I didn’t feel great,” he recalls as Shohei gave up a three-run homer. “If I could have it over, I would do the same thing, probably call a different pitch.” When it came to the ninth inning, Roberts praises Miguel Rojas. “Something in your gut, I felt like he was going to give us a good at-bat,” Roberts recalled. “For me it’s betting on people who would die on the field to help his team win. It just could not happen to a better guy.” At one point in the bottom of the ninth, the Dodgers had just a 9% win percentage, and Roberts admits to having a few negative thoughts. “I told myself to get out of that,” he remembers. Roberts even gets nervous watching the tape. “I know I lived it, but it coulda been a dream,” he says. “What are the odds of getting out of that inning without giving any runs? … But I can look out on that diamond and say there are 9 players who are dependable.”
