  • What Every Michigan Business Owner Should Know Before They Get Sued | Brandon Grysko
    2026/08/21
Brandon Grysko spent seven years wearing a badge before he ever put on a suit.

He started out chasing a fireman's paycheck, landed in EMS, and then his dad, a career sheriff's deputy, pointed him toward policing instead.

Brandon started noticing he liked the union side of the job more than the job itself. Contract negotiations. Discipline hearings. The parts that looked a lot like law.

Now he runs Fausone & Grysko, a business law firm in Northville, Michigan, and he still thinks like a cop every single day he practices.

We covered a lot of ground in this one.
→ Why he left police work, and what his wife's sleep had to do with it
→ What actually happens in your body during a high stress police encounter
→ The one line cops can say that stops a traffic stop from escalating
→ Why "defund the police" is usually the wrong question
→ What most business owners get wrong before they end up in a lawsuit

Here's what stuck with me. Most people either love cops or hate cops, and Brandon just wants people to be honest about what the job actually requires of a person's body and mind before they judge the split second decisions made inside it.

Thanks to Brandon for making the drive up from Northville and giving us way more time than one episode of cop stories, faith debates, and business advice. Appreciate you, brother!!

  • Detroit Fox News Host: What it’s REALLY like hosting a TV Show | Ronia Shamona
    2026/08/17
Ronia Shamona has spent 20 years in local news. Overnight shifts in Las Vegas. 20 years of live TV. Now she anchors FOX 2 Detroit Live in the 2 and 3 pm hours and hosts her own segment, Rona's Rundown.

She did ten years on overnights before she had kids. After two kids and a stretch of postpartum on that schedule, she said it became impossible. She stepped away for six years to raise her kids before coming back to the chair…

Now she is back on dayside, running a live, unscripted show where she does not know what is happening until the camera turns on. She still tracks missing kids cases long after they stop being news, because she is a mom first. And she is building something new, a platform focused on mental health, because she thinks people need somewhere honest to talk about what they are actually going through.

    What we covered:
→ Twenty years in news and what changed after she had kids
→ The Father's Day segment that got to both of us
→ Why she thinks being yourself is the only thing that works on live TV
→ Interviewing Akon, Joan Rivers, and the Trump family

She has sat across from Akon and the Trump family in the same career, and the story that stuck with her the most was a dad on a Father's Day segment. That tells you everything about how she actually does this job.

Thanks Ronia for stepping out of the anchor chair at FOX 2 Detroit to sit down with me. Go watch her weekdays at 2 and 3 pm.

    *Chapters*
    0:00 Intro
1:07 Twenty years in news, and how overnights nearly ended it
2:32 The live TV moments that never leave you
5:40 Being herself on air, even during today's live rescue
7:32 A day in the life of an unscripted anchor
10:26 Breaking news, four studios, and why every market feels different
15:30 The people she puts on air and the platform she's building next
18:13 Rona's Rundown and the fight to keep news positive
23:13 UFOs, the JFK files, and the political show that wrecked her
30:15 A torn hamstring, Akon, and the moment she will never forget

  • THIS Is Why Most Businesses Stay Stuck | Dr. Tim Tenneriello
    2026/08/07
Dr. Tim Tenneriello started out as a high school athlete who wanted to coach… which turned into a career running schools, then buying and scaling companies, then rebuilding wealth management practices from the inside.

Through his career journey , he learned nobody actually cares about your resume if you can just help them get from point A to point B.

That mindset took a struggling school to the top of its portfolio in four years, grew a company from $5M to $9M in his first year, and eventually led him to Procyon, where he now helps a team of 85 people do the same thing for their clients.

In this episode of The Dillon England Show, we covered:
→ Why buying an existing business can beat starting one from scratch
→ The imposter syndrome that doesn't actually go away
→ What a rising tide needs to work, and what a sinking one does too
→ What Procyon does for business owners, from family office services to M&A support

The big takeaway: the money follows the growth of people… Every. Time.

Thank you to Dr. Tim for making the time to sit down and get into all of it. Appreciate you being my guest in this episode!
