It's been on the list for weeks, possibly months, and every time you go to make it, life happens and you make it fast in the gap between everything else, or you don't make it at all. Either way it's costing you, and the cost is bigger than you've let yourself look at.

In this episode I'm walking you through the decision I made 18 months ago in my kitchen, in about ninety seconds, with Scarlett asking me about something and my phone in my hand. It wasn't a wrong decision. It was a reasonable one. And it still cost me roughly 14 months of drag in the business, because I'd made a decade-scale decision at Snickers-bar speed with about 40% of the information I actually needed to make it well.
