Many years ago, we started having our staff write blogs on wedding fashion and wedding planning advice. After all, we advise brides and grooms 7 days a week and have been doing it for many years. What better than to have a bridal stylist or tuxedo consultant write about wedding fashion when that's what they do all day, every day?

To-date, we have over 525 wedding fashion and planing blogs on our website. Last year, we decided to turn those blogs into podcasts and short videos. The response has been overwhelming and this year, we are expanding our video offerings on our YouTube Channel.

In this week's Darianna® Diaries, we give you details about what we are seeing with wedding dress designs, bridal gown colors and what our wedding dress designers have created for 2026 brides.

Research and Experience

Darianna® Bridal & Tuxedo sells a lot of wedding dresses every year. We see what brides are choosing and can often see where trends are going. In addition, the co-founder and co-owner of the store, along with her daughter, Daria, choose all of the new dresses coming into the store for brides to try on.

Lastly, our staff is sent to several bridal markets all over the United States to preview new wedding dress styles and to actually speak to the designers themselves to learn what they are thinking. This is an amazing experience because there's nothing better than a bridal stylist to be able to tell a bride during a bridal appointment about what the designer was thinking when designing the dress she is trying on. Truly a magical and value added experience.

This is probably the most misunderstood part of wedding dress shopping and we can't blame brides for this. A lot of consumers are led to believe that it takes a lot longer than it really does for a wedding dress to arrive. Fortunately, this is not at all the case.
