Gary Brown is a Long Island native that attended Brentwood public schools for his primary and secondary education. Gary Brown graduated from Brentwood High School in 1989 earning his high school diploma. While attending high school, Gary earned a two letter acknowledgement for being an active participant on the Basketball and Football teams.Following high school, Gary continued his passion of playing football and attended Nassau Community College. As Gary excelled on the football field, he was recognized as a National Junior College All-American football player. Due to Gary’s dedication of obtaining his degree and achievements on the football field, he simultaneous graduated from NassauCommunity College with an Associates Degree and received an athletic scholarship to the prestigious Georgia School of Technology (Georgia Tech) in 1992. 

Gary’s impact at Georgia Tech was instantaneous and he became a recipient of a two “letter” award winner as a pillar on the offensive line. While pursuing his degree at Georgia Tech, Gary’s outstanding performance on the football field was observed by the National Football League. In 1994, Gary was drafted in the 5th round by the Pittsburgh Steelers and was acquired by the Green Bay Packers later that year.

While with the Green Bay Packers, Gary’s contribution and dedication assisted the Packers in winning the Super Bowl in 1997. After ending his tenure with the Green Bay Packers, Gary then played for a variety of teams domestically and internationally. Gary played for the Barcelona Dragons in Europe in 1998 & 1999. Gary also played for the San Francisco 49ers in 1998 and the Hamilton Tiger Cats in Canada from 2000-2003. Throughout Gary’s career and travels, he remained steadfast on the principles and morals instilled in him by his loving parents Bettie Brown and Tommie Brown. These attributes continue to reward our community as Gary is actively giving back as a mentor to at youth risk and is available for the enhancement of any societal needs.

Christopher Ferrari's background in business and expertise as a social director at Binghamton University has also brought about the birth an inception of his now infamous MKM (Mortgage Knowledge Mondays) posts/reels/ and in-depth interviews with some of the most on-trend brokers, realtors, insurance agents, and media/tech specialists in the Long Island area.

Through his close mentorship with our very own Nicholas and Anthony Ceccarini, and with his personal drive to become more knowledgeable and accessible we have quickly seen Chris take the keys to the driver’s seat of his future and become the youngest Vice President of the Central Long Island Le Tip Chapter and a member of both Edge Networking and NSYP.

Steve Klein serves as a Senior Loan Officer at Absolute Home Mortgage
Steve is responsible for originating purchases and refinance mortgages. Steve has experience with all mortgage products including, FHA, VA, Conventional, rehabilitation loans, SONYMA loans as well as first time home buyer programs including grants and down payment assistance.  

Steve's extensive background in mortgage operations has enabled him to fully comprehend both the origination and underwriting/processing aspects of obtaining a mortgage. This in turn, helps him guide his clients through a smooth transaction. Steve prides himself on his customer services skills and personal approach to customer satisfaction.

Steve has 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry. Prior to joining Absolute Home Mortgage Steve was a manager at RoundPoint
Mortgage & Freedom Mortgage for 14 years. Steve was at Accredited Home Lenders as a Senior Processor from 2002 - 2007. Steve was a part of
the Director’s Club at Accredited Home Lenders for 4 consecutive years.

What started as a summer gig as a barista at a local coffee shop turned into Greg Camarda's own business. He, along with family friend Christina McArthur, transformed a former Dairy Barn into a drive-thru-only coffeehouse under the name Buzzed Coffee.

A local roaster provides Buzz’d with medium-to-dark beans, which are ground on-site and used for a range of coffees and espresso drinks. A blend of Brazilian (40%), Mexican (50%) and Ethiopian (10%) beans are used for the shop's espresso and cold brews, while its drip coffees are a 50-50 balance of Brazilian and Mexican beans.

Buzz’d's concept focuses on efficiency as much as it does its coffee, hence the business model's two-lane drive thru, where one lane is meant for app preorders and the other for traditional drive-thru ordering.

Colleen Chase is a Long Island local who lived, studied and worked on Long Island her whole life. She has a vast knowledge of the real estate industry as well as many years experience in customer service. She loves working with people and helping them find their dream house to make a home- or sell their home and start a new chapter in their life.
