概要

 In the autumn of 2019, the old county courthouse in Millington, Vermont stood empty for three years after a fire gutted its east wing. The town council finally approved its demolition, but one night in October, Luna's friend Leo—a local historian—went inside to retrieve a box of land deeds before the wrecking crew arrived. He brought a flashlight, a camera, and a voice recorder. He came out at 4 AM, pale and silent, his recorder full of sounds he couldn't explain. This is what he told Luna the next morning, sitting on her porch as the sky refused to lighten. A story about what waits in places that have been abandoned long enough to forget they were ever meant for the living.
