    This week on The Cosmic Citizen, we journied deeper into the astonishing universe family revealed in Paper 22. The Trinitized Sons of God. We read and discussed Sections 5. The Trinitized Custodians and Section 6. The Trinitized Ambassadors.

    First, we explored the Trinitized Custodians, those faithful seraphim and midway creatures who once walked beside ascending mortals as guardians, companions, and co‑workers, and who now stand as trusted officers of the Ancients of Days. These beings have traversed Havona, attained Paradise, and been embraced by the Paradise Trinity in mighty groups of seventy thousand. Today, they safeguard the collective enterprises of the superuniverses: the records, the plans, the morontia projects, the universe undertakings that knit together the vast administration of Orvonton.

    Then we met their remarkable counterparts: the Trinitized Ambassadors. Drawn from Spirit‑fused and Son‑fused mortals who have reached Paradise, these ambassadors represent the finest minds of their orders. Commissioned by the Ancients of Days, they serve as emissaries to worlds and universes across their superuniverse, carrying insight, wisdom, and experiential understanding where no other personality could. They are the reserve corps of the Trinitized Sons. They are ready for any mission, any emergency, any assignment the superuniverse rulers require.

    Together, these two orders reveal a breathtaking truth: that loyalty, cooperation, and spiritual achievement echo far beyond mortal life, shaping destinies that reach into the very architecture of the grand universe.

    In this episode, we began another of the breathtaking revelations in the Urantia cosmology with Paper 23. The Solitary Messengers. This paper is the story of the Solitary Messengers, the first and senior order of the Higher Personalities of the Infinite Spirit. These astonishing beings are the earliest personal creations of the Third Source and Center. They are brought into existence in a single, stupendous act of spiritualization. They are so ancient, so foundational, that only Paradise and the Havona circuits precede them.


    This paper tells of the nearly 7,690 trillion Solitary Messengers that currently serve within Orvonton alone, that being less than one‑seventh of their total number. They are everywhere, moving through the grand universe as the Infinite Spirit’s personal touch. It's the Spirit's direct presence and way of reaching into the farthest worlds of time and space.


    Section 1 reveals their nature with exquisite clarity. These beings were created whole, perfect, equal, and timeless. They are the first creatures ever to be personalized in time and spiritualized in space. They possess a unique consciousness of time, a deep awareness of selfhood, and an unbroken loyalty that has never once faltered in all the annals of the master universe.

    Though called “Solitary,” they are anything but lonely. They love to work alone, yet remain constantly connected to the living intelligence of creation, able to “listen in” on the broadcasts of the realms and communicate with their own corps. They are the universe’s great time savers, being swift, dependable, versatile, and spiritually sympathetic. They assist everyone, from the highest administrators to the humblest workers of the local universes.


    These messengers must travel alone. When they draw too near to one another, they become “short‑circuited” from the Paradise circuits that sustain them. So, they carry within themselves an automatic alarm, a divine safeguard that keeps them perfectly spaced as they traverse the currents of time and the circuits of space. They are precise, radiant, and unstoppable.


    Listen in, as we marvel at this extraordinary order of beings: their origin in the dawn of time, their flawless loyalty, their cosmic purpose, and their role as the Infinite Spirit’s personal emissaries to the far‑flung worlds of creation. This is a realm of pure spiritual elegance and one where even solitude becomes a form of divine service.

    In this week’s exploration of The Urantia Book we continued our study of Urantia Paper 23, "The Solitary Messengers," with a reading and discussion of Section 2, "Assignments of Solitary Messengers."

    We stepped into a breathtaking panorama of cosmic ministry to learn about their sevenfold assignments. These extraordinary beings, born of the Infinite Spirit and equal in every way, roam the grand universe without hierarchy, without government, and without attachment, answering only the call of divine purpose.

    We journeyed through their astonishing range of service, be it their secret and trusted errands of the Paradise Trinity, the intimate communion they share with the perfect natives of Havona, their vital role as inter‑superuniverse couriers for the Ancients of Days, or their tireless work within the local universes as revealers of the Mother Spirit’s intent.

    We marveled at their daring expeditions into uncharted outer space. They are free explorers who delight in discovering the embryonic worlds where future life may unfold. And we paused to feel the beauty of their highest calling, that being Revealers of Truth, who carry living light to the worlds of time and who enlarge revelation and stitch together the universe with understanding.

    This section reminds us all that the seeming turmoil of our world is not evidence of divine neglect but part of a deeper, soul‑forging design. As we contemplate these solitary yet never‑lonely messengers, we might glimpse a universe alive with purpose, coordination, and hope. We can then marvel at a God who entrusts perfect beings with perfect missions, even as He shapes imperfect mortals into strong and noble souls.

Beyond the descending Sons of God and the ascending Sons of God lies a mysterious and majestic order: the Trinitized Sons of God. We'll be reading the preamble and Section 1: The Trinity-Embraced Sons.

    If you’ve ever wondered what lies beyond Paradise attainment, beyond finaliter destiny, or beyond the known orders of sonship, Paper 22 opens that door. This is one of the most thrilling revelations in the entire book and we can’t wait to explore it with you.

    Paper 22 pulls back the curtain on these extraordinary beings whose very existence is shaped by the profound act of trinitization. While one group, the Deity‑trinitized Sons, remain unrevealed, we will dive deep into the two groups we can explore: the Trinity‑embraced Sons and the creature‑trinitized Sons. These mighty personalities are forged through divine union, perfected experience, and Paradise destiny.

    We met and discussed the seven remarkable orders of Trinity‑embraced sons, from the Mighty Messengers and Those High in Authority to the Celestial Guardians and High Son Assistants. We'll discover how mortals, midwayers, seraphim, and even Paradise‑Havona beings can be elevated into these astonishing roles. Their assignments span the vast superuniverses. Their loyalty is flawless and their service is woven into the very governance of time and space.

    A Special Tribute Episode for Jesus' Birthday

    This week we honored the birthday of Jesus, which, according to The Urantia Book, was on August 21st, 7 BC. We read and discussed two luminous portraits of his character that are both found in The Urantia Book. They are Section 7 of Paper 100 and Section 7 of Paper 171. Together, they reveal not only who he was, but also what he still is and who he inspires us to become.

    We began with Paper 100, Section 7. The Acme of Religious Living. In this section we learn that the greatness of Jesus was not merely in his perfection, but in his marvelous symmetry. This section highlights the exquisite balance between his strength and tenderness, his courage and patience, his originality and reverence. He was the most unified human personality ever to walk this world. He lived truth without pretense, loved without sentimentality, and faced reality without losing joy. His cheerfulness was not naïve; it was rooted in an unshakable trust in God and an unbreakable confidence in mankind. He was imaginative yet practical, bold yet prudent, candid yet kind. In him, goodness became attractive, courage became reasonable, and devotion became contagious. He was the living demonstration of what a human life looks like when fully aligned with God's will.

    And then we went on to Paper 171, Section 7. As Jesus Passed By. This sections shows us the effect he had on ordinary people in ordinary moments. He spread good cheer like sunlight. His graciousness wasn’t learned; it flowed naturally from his love‑saturated soul. He understood people so deeply and his compassion was always constructive, never pitying. He could help men and women so profoundly because he loved them so personally. His presence lifted burdens without increasing self‑pity, awakened hope without denying suffering, and revealed the divine without diminishing the human.

    When these two portraits are placed side by side, a single truth emerges: Jesus’s life was the acme of religious living because his love was the acme of human living. He unified personality, elevated character, simplified experience, leaving behind a trail of transformed hearts. And he still does this for us all! His life shows us that the highest spirituality is not withdrawal from life, but the splendid engagement of a soul fully aligned with God.

    We lovingly remembered not only the child of Bethlehem, but the man of Galilee and the Son of God. He's the one whose passing presence still warms the world, and whose unified life still calls each of us toward our own highest and most beautiful self.

    On this episode of The Cosmic Citizen we continued our reading and discussion of Urantia Paper 21. The Paradise Creator Sons, Section 4. The Michael Bestowals.

    We explored one of the most astonishing revelations in the Urantia Papers: the seven bestowals of a Paradise Creator Son. Before a Michael can rule a universe in his own right, he must walk seven different paths of creature experience. It's a voluntary descent from divinity into the very lives of the beings he has created. Each bestowal reveals a new facet of the Father’s nature, a new depth of divine empathy, and a new dimension of experiential wisdom.

    Unlike the Avonals, who always incarnate as mortals, the Michaels traverse seven distinct levels of creature existence, culminating in the supreme adventure of bestowal into the mortal life. Only once in the history of any universe is a Creator Son become “born of woman.” In our universe, that moment unfolded on our world, Urantia. When the babe of Bethlehem entered the world, he arrived as a Creator Son who had already completed six previous bestowals, and his life and death here completed the seventh. No wonder he could say, with cosmic certainty, “It is finished.”

    After this final bestowal, a Creator Son is no longer a vicegerent of the Father but a sovereign in his own right, truly a Master Son, one who has earned authority through lived experience and someone who embodies the fullness of divine origin and the hard‑won understanding of creature life. As we discussed last week, their sovereignty is achieved.

    This section invites us to rethink our own evolutionary struggles. If even the Michaels must pass through the school of experience to become worthy rulers, then our own ascent, being slow, imperfect, and often painful, is part of the same cosmic pattern and plan. The universe is literally built on experiential growth, and the Gods themselves have walked the path that waits for us.

    In this episode, we explored three sections from Urantia Paper 22. Sections 2, 3, and 4. These sections reveal The Mighty Messengers, Those High in Authority, and Those Without Name and Number. Three exquisite orders of perfected, ascendant beings, who were forged in loyalty, mastery, and transcendent worship, and who now stand at the very heart of superuniverse administration.

    We begin with the Mighty Messengers, mortals who once stood firm in the face of rebellion, proving their loyalty when everything around them was collapsing. (We were rereading of this section from our previous episode.) These are the souls who passed the universe’s greatest tests (some have even stepped into the roles of fallen leaders) and emerged so faithful, so steady, that the Paradise Trinity embraced them and commissioned them as the trusted observers and defenders of the Ancients of Days. They remember every step of their mortal ascent, making them the most understanding ministers in all the worlds of time.

    Next, we met Those High in Authority, the consummate administrators of the superuniverses. These are the perfected mortals whose ascending careers revealed extraordinary executive genius. They are the “cream of governing ability” coming from the evolutionary worlds. They serve anywhere, on any sphere, and in any capacity. They ensure justice, order, and wise administration across the vast domains of our Super Universe. If you ever stand before a tribunal in your ascent, these brilliant beings, who were once mortals like you, will ensure you are understood and never judged unfairly.

    Finally, we encountered Those Without Name and Number, the supreme jurors of Orvonton. These ascendant souls have developed a level of worship and spiritual insight that transcends the comprehension of ordinary evolutionary beings. They grasp the eternal purpose of the Universal Father with a clarity beyond name or number. When the universe requires the highest spiritual viewpoint, the deepest experiential wisdom, or the most noble judgment, these exalted beings step forward.

    Together, these three orders form the Trinitized Sons of Attainment. They are the mortals who have climbed from the worlds of time, fused with their Adjusters, traversed Havona, attained Paradise, and been embraced by the Trinity itself. They are diverse, individualized, and uniquely qualified to keep the superuniverses aligned with truth, justice, mercy, and the eternal purposes of God.

    And here’s a breathtaking promise: Mortals can ascend, attain Paradise, receive the Trinity embrace, and in remote ages be commissioned to reveal truth to an evolving world. That is just what the Mighty Messenger who authored this paper did. This episode invites us to imagine our future possibilities in this vast cosmic family and to meet the extraordinary beings who once walked the evolutionary worlds just as we do now.

    First up, we did a recap of the Creature‑Trinitized Sons and their extraordinary destiny among the governments of the superuniverses.

    Beyond the divine orders of sonship, there exists a breathtaking family of beings born not of Deity alone, but of creature experience. They are the trinitized offspring of perfected mortals and Paradise‑Havona personalities. These are the Creature-Trinitized Sons. These sons, young and untrained at first, begin their careers on the sacred spheres of the Infinite Spirit. They learn under the Seven Supreme Executives before being adopted by the Trinity Teacher Sons for deeper cosmic apprenticeship.

    Some of these remarkable beings are eventually embraced by the Paradise Trinity itself, emerging as Trinitized Sons of Perfection. They are twice‑trinitized personalities who take up high service with the Ancients of Days. Some become ambassadors of the Master Spirits, aides to the Reflective Spirits, or trusted workers on the secret worlds of the Father. Their destinies are diverse, beautiful, and deeply woven into the unfolding administration of the universe of universes.

    We then moved on to the Celestial Guardians. These are the creature‑trinitized sons whose service with the Teacher Sons prepares them for one of the most unique roles in all creation. After Trinity embrace, they become officers of the superuniverse courts, messengers of the Ancients of Days, bearers of summonses, and agents entrusted with the most delicate judicial missions. Nearly a billion serve in our super universe alone.

    These twice‑trinitized sons, magnificent though they are, are truly humble. They understand that they lack the experiential depth of ascendant mortals. Their longing for the lived journey from the worlds of space is described as “transcendently beautiful.” It's a reminder that experience itself is the universe’s most effective teacher. They serve faithfully, joyfully, and with a devotion that makes every ascender grateful for the rugged path of experiential growth.
