  • Say What You Mean. Mean What You Say: How to Practice Integrity
    2025/11/04

Integrity. We want it. We expect it. But do we practice it?

Have you ever felt betrayed by someone whose words didn’t match their actions? Or been promised something that never came to pass? That sting of disappointment isn’t just about broken commitments—it’s about broken character.

Integrity isn’t simply about being good—it’s about being whole. It’s the alignment of speech, spirit, and follow-through. “Let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No’”— I recall the ancient words of Jesus of Nazareth. Integrity what makes someone trustworthy, not just talented.

In this episode, we’re diving into the art of integrity: what it means to be untouched, unbroken, and unwavering in character. We’ll unpack its ancient roots, examine how trust has eroded across politics, workplaces, and homes, and explore how Gen Z and Gen Alpha are quietly leading a return to values that matter.

So let’s talk about how to say what you mean and mean what you say—because when your words build trust, your actions build legacy.

In this episode, we sit down with Brian McIntosh, a Toronto-based travel content creator who’s explored 120 countries and built a platform that challenges the mental barriers keeping people from experiencing the world. Brian is a Toronto-based travel content creator who has explored 120 countries and built a thriving platform that challenges the mental barriers keeping people from experiencing the world. Since his first international journey, he’s addressed common fears—“It’s not safe,” “I can’t afford it,” “I don’t speak the language,” “People like me aren’t welcome”—with clarity and confidence.

As a leading voice in the luxury Black travel community, Brian’s work has been featured in Travel + Leisure and Essence Magazine, where he’s celebrated for his cinematic aesthetic and empowering message. His authentic storytelling has led to collaborations with over 100 brands, including Google, Adidas, Panasonic, luxury hotels, and tourism boards worldwide.

Brian calls himself a “Visual Architect,” blending an engineer’s precision with an artist’s eye. Through stunning photography and immersive content, he proves that safety is achievable, luxury is accessible, and cultural differences are bridges—not barriers. He believes the world is eager to welcome curious travelers who show up with respect and openness.

More than showcasing destinations, Brian equips his audience with mindset shifts and practical tools—from travel insurance and packing tips to cultural sensitivity and travel hacking. His honest conversations about navigating unfamiliar places, overcoming language gaps, and traveling as a person of color help transform “someday” dreamers into confident explorers.

His mission is clear: to remove the roadblocks that keep people from seeing the world, and to prove that extraordinary travel experiences aren’t reserved for a select few—they’re waiting for anyone bold enough to challenge their own limitations.

We’ll talk about what it means to see the world through a cultural lens, how to travel smart, and why representation in travel matters.

  • Do you really need 10,000 hours to be great? How Mastery Is Really Built
    2025/09/23

Talent gets attention. Skill gets paid.

Talent is what people admire from a distance—it’s the spark, the potential, the “wow” factor. But skill? Skill is talent that’s been refined, repeated, and repurposed for the public good. It’s what people pay to see, hear, or experience—because it delivers value, consistently.

But do you really need 10,000 hours to be great, as Malcolm Gladwell suggests, to earn that kind of recognition?

Join me in this episode as we explore how greatness might be closer than we think—and how intentional practice can accelerate the journey.
