  • My NCAA men's basketball recap
    2026/04/07

The 2025-26 men's college basketball season is now over and congrats to the Michigan Wolverines for winning the national championship by defeating UConn 69-63!

Recap of the game, my thoughts on both teams struggles with shooting the ball and how the refs could have impacted the way they played. Michigan gets it going a bit in the 2nd half and never looked back, even with UConn making a mini-run in final minute.

Then, discussion on why Michigan was the most complete team of the season and how they really had no weakness that was enough to exploit. Mix in transfer talk and what it says about Coach Dusty May's coaching with how they put the team together and that it's not a negative towards them.

Finish it up with the Big Ten conference puffing out their chest now with national champions in football, women's basketball and men's basketball.

    2026/04/05

Congrats to the UCLA Bruins women's basketball team on their national championship! I discuss the big win over South Carolina in a dominant performance to win their first championship since 1978. Their 79-51 win was in dominant fashion, I also discuss the South Carolina gamecocks run to the championship game, including the Dawn Staley/Geno Auriemma situation at the end of their game. Then, I talk some highlights including Duke/LSU, Notre Dame's run and Virginia's big win over Iowa.

I close with a general statement on the sport and how it continues to deliver and is still staying strong with viewership and popularity. This was another great tournament with tonsd of excitement and again, congrats to UCLA!!!!
