The tight birthright citizenship decision was the key one yesterday for many, and 'the reaction has not been muted,' says MacFarlane of what he's seeing from people in Washington. Comments on transgender athlete participation; campaign finance restrictions lifted; mail balloting. 'A divide on things that people thought were no-brainers,' is how MacFarlane evaluates this current Supreme Court, 'a divided court.' He calls the NPR mistaken report of a retirement for Justice Samuel Alito, 'a disaster.'
