概要

 July 2018, in the town of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, Luna took a last-minute babysitting job for a family she didn't know. The house on Mulberry Street had a cellar door in the kitchen — a square cut in the linoleum with a brass ring. The parents said to keep it closed. The girl, age six, told Luna about the woman who lived down there. Not a ghost, she said. Just a woman who never left. What Luna saw when she finally opened that door was not a monster, not a corpse. It was something far quieter, and far worse. This is a story about what we agree not to see, and what happens when a child tells the truth and no one listens.
