  • Why Mane Wants To Leave Liverpool
    2022/06/02
After a scintillating UCL final which saw Liverpool fall short to Real Madrid, African star and Senegalese attacker Sadio Mane announced that he wants to leave Anfield. The 30-year-old revealed before the match that he has an announcement and it has since been revealed that the reason behind wanting to leave, all comes down to wages. Mane is currently earning around £100 000 per week; he is currently outside of the Reds' 10 highest earners. According to Sport Bild, the reason for Mane's refusal to extend his stay with Liverpool is because the club were against giving the forward the weekly £393 000 wage package he had requested.

This fixture sees the winners of the COPA America lock horns with the winners of the European Championship. La Albiceleste have now gone a record 32 games unbeaten with an attack that seems to be too menacing for most opponents. This is the second major international trophy that Lionel Messi has lifted.

  • Is Haaland The Final Piece To City’s Puzzle?
    2022/05/13
The talking point on everybody’s lips from this week’s International scene is the confirmed signing of Erling Haaland. The 21-year-old is set to join Manchester City after his release clause was activated for a measly £60 million. Manchester City of course haven’t had a world-class, out and out number 9 since Sergio Ageruo left them in 2021 and the citizens are looking to bolster up their already world-class squad with some attacking firepower to hopefully win them their first-ever UEFA Champions League trophy in the next season.

Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Ajax Cape Town goalie Sean Roberts and Soccer Laduma International News Correspondent Kurt Bucckerfield also talk about the Erik ten Hag regime at Manchester United with a complete rebuild looking to be the case. It is said that the Dutch tactician wants to get Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt to join the Red Devils. Let us not forget that these two youngsters worked with ten Hag at Ajax and with the likes of Donny van de Beek set to return from his loan spell, the trio could be reunited!
