From the buzz of Friday night lights in Cardinal Stadium to the outstanding performances on stage in our fine arts programs, there has been no shortage of moments that brought our community together.

    Inside the classrooms, students and teachers have been hard at work pushing for excellence, setting the tone for strong academic achievement and continued growth. Our commitment to high expectations and meaningful learning has been evident in every hallway, every lesson, and every opportunity for students to engage and excel. At the same time, our athletic teams have competed with heart and determination, representing Osborne with pride and resilience.

    Beyond academics and athletics, the spirit of community has been stronger than ever. Events, partnerships, and celebrations have highlighted what makes Osborne truly special—our people. Whether through student organizations, family engagement opportunities, or school-wide celebrations, there has been a consistent focus on connection, belonging, and Cardinal pride.

    Cardinal Flyby Podcast: Season 3 Kicks Off with Dr. Jones

    The Cardinal Flyby Podcast is back—new season, new studio, and bigger than ever! Hosts Ben Needle and Heidi Leonard open by celebrating a major milestone: nearly 5,000 downloads across 30 countries and more than 300 cities. From Marietta to Scotland, Osborne’s story is reaching the world.

    This season premiere features none other than Principal Dr. Troy Jones, who shares his passion for leading Osborne in its 120th year. Together, they look back on unforgettable highlights—like the Senior Spotlight with its dazzling fireworks, Osborne’s largest graduating class in school history, and the tradition-packed Senior Walk that brings the community together in a powerful show of pride.

    The excitement doesn’t stop there. Osborne’s Partners in Education Summit continues to grow, uniting over 100 local businesses and organizations. Student achievement is soaring too, with AP exam participation quadrupling in just three years and distinguished learners being celebrated in style with five-star recognition.     Join us for the second episode in our three-part finale as we wrap up Season 2 of the Cardinal Fly By Podcast. This episode features heartfelt reflections and words of wisdom from three standout graduates—Jason Huynh, Emma Wood, and Jonah Gomez—each of whom earned the honor of speaking at Osborne High School’s graduation ceremony due to their exceptional merit and involvement.

    Jason, Emma, and Jonah share how they immersed themselves in the life of the school, from leading clubs and participating in activities to forming strong connections with the teachers who supported them through both challenges and victories. Their high school journeys began in the wake of the pandemic, as they transitioned from remote learning to reacclimating to the rhythms of traditional high school life. With the encouragement of their peers and teachers, they found stability, purpose, and belonging.

    Throughout the episode, the graduates give numerous shout-outs to teachers who inspired, challenged, and believed in them. They speak candidly about the many opportunities Osborne provided—through academics, leadership roles, and extracurricular activities—that helped shape them into confident, capable young adults. They also offer a glimpse into their futures, which include military service, college degrees, and aspirations for graduate study.

    These three graduates represent the spirit and strength of Osborne’s record-setting Class of 2025.
