- Mark Morris photographed a birthday cake on the concrete threshold of the Cutter Lake pump station the morning of July 11; the cake had white frosting, pale blue rosettes, and nine unlit candles.
- Evidence sweep at the pump station recovered a grocery bag with a chain logo matching Route Nine containing three candles from a box of twelve; nine candles were used.
- Marcia Duncan's fingerprints were confirmed on the exterior of the grocery bag found wedged in the pump station door hinge.
- Marcia's gray Honda Civic was found in the Route Nine parking lot, parked since she paid at the register at 11:47 a.m, on July 10.
