Turns out I’m not lazy… I was diagnosed with ADHD at 30.

In this video, I’m sharing my journey to getting officially diagnosed with ADHD as an adult — from what my life looked like before I realized ADHD could even be part of my story, to the conversation that changed everything, to finally getting answers at 30.

I talk about the signs I missed, the way I used to judge myself, my decision to try medication, and what life has felt like before and after understanding how my brain actually works.

This video isn’t about using ADHD as an excuse. It’s about realizing that maybe I was never broken, lazy, careless, or incapable — maybe I was just trying to force my brain into systems that were never built for me.

Getting diagnosed gave me language, compassion, and permission to build a life that actually supports the way I’m wired.
