概要

 It's late summer, 1997, on an old swing bridge over Bayou John in the Louisiana swamp. The bridge tender, an old man named Elias Thibodeaux, has been keeping a lantern lit in the control booth for forty years — not for the boats, but for something that comes at midnight from the water.
