  • The People of the Kingdom | Luke 10:38-42
    2025/07/17

Luke 10:38-42 - In this tender and convicting message, Pastor Rob invites us to consider where we’re sitting—at Jesus’ feet like Mary, or distracted in the kitchen like Martha. While Martha was doing good and honorable work, even serving the Lord Himself, she became burdened and anxious when her serving took precedence over her relationship with Jesus. Rob reminds us that ministry can easily become a substitute for intimacy, and that Jesus gently calls us back—not with condemnation, but with compassion: “Only one thing is necessary.” The invitation is clear. In a world pulling us in a thousand directions, will we choose the better portion—simply being with Jesus?

Has my serving become a substitute for truly sitting with Jesus? What distractions am I letting pull me away from His presence? What might it look like this week to choose the “better portion”?

  • The People of the Kingdom | Luke 10:25-37
    2025/07/01

Luke 10:25-37 - In this message, Pastor Rob explores the well-known exchange between Jesus and the lawyer, and the parable of the Good Samaritan, challenging us to see beyond national, ethnic, or personal boundaries when it comes to love and mercy. With compassion at the heart of a transformed life, Jesus calls us not only to bless Israel as part of God’s redemptive plan, but to bless all people—because in Christ, everyone is our neighbor. We are sent out to show mercy, embody the love of Jesus, and be ambassadors of His kingdom, wherever we are. The question is no longer “Who is my neighbor?”- it’s “How am I living as a neighbor like Jesus?” Ask yourself, where is God inviting you to extend mercy today? Are you living as an ambassador of His kingdom to all people? What prejudices or fears need to be surrendered so you can love like Jesus?

  • The People of the Kingdom | Luke 10:3-24
    2025/06/24

Luke 10:3-24 - In this message, Pastor Rob unpacks Jesus’ sending of the 72, highlighting what it means to be ambassadors of the kingdom in a world marked by conflict, fear, and spiritual need. Jesus’ call is urgent: go in faith, with peace on your lips, and the message of hope in your heart. As the disciples experienced healing, deliverance, and joy, they were reminded that the truest joy isn’t power or results—it’s knowing their names are written in heaven. Rob challenges us to discern the time we live in, to embrace our calling with boldness, humility, and love, and to rejoice not in what we do for God, but in who we are because of Him. Are you walking in the authority Jesus has given? Do you rejoice more in what you can do for God, or in simply being His? How might you share the peace and hope of the kingdom this week, right where you are?

  • The People of the Kingdom | Luke 10:1-3
    2025/06/24

Luke 10:1-3 - In this message, Pastor Rob opens Luke 10 with Jesus’ commission to the seventy-two—a call not just for them, but for us. The harvest is still plentiful, and Jesus is still sending. Rob challenges us to consider what “Go your way” means in our own context: where we live, who we know, and what we’ve been equipped to do. This isn't about religious performance—it’s about surrender, availability, and trust. Through stories from both Scripture and real-life missions, we’re reminded that God equips those He calls, and He sends us not alone, but with His Spirit and His people. The question is simple but weighty: Are you willing to say, “Here I am, send me”? Who is already in your life that God may be asking you to reach? What fears or distractions keep you from saying yes to His call? How might you step into the harvest—right where you are?

  • Pea Soup Days | Matthew 21:23–44
    2025/06/17

Matthew 21:23–44 - In this powerful message, Pastor Rob invites us to consider whether we’ve truly surrendered to Jesus—or if we’re clinging to control like the religious leaders who rejected Him. Through parables of two sons and a vineyard, Jesus exposes hearts hardened by pride and self-righteousness. The warning is clear: God isn’t after empty words or religious appearances—He’s after our surrender. Those who fall on Christ in repentance will be broken in the best way, transformed into something new. But those who resist Him will find themselves crushed by the very cornerstone they rejected. Are you truly yielding to Christ’s authority? What fruit is your life producing? Are you proclaiming His kingdom—or guarding the gate to keep others out?

  • The Gospel of Salvation
    2025/06/03

This sermon from Jack Falkenhagen is a sobering call to reflect deeply on the good news of Jesus—not as a feel-good phrase, but as a rescue from the judgment we rightfully deserve. Through Scripture, Jack walks us through the devastating reality of our sin and the overwhelming grace found at the cross. We are reminded that God is both just and merciful, and that Jesus willingly drank the full cup of God’s wrath to save us. It's not enough to simply know about Jesus or do good works in His name; what matters is whether we truly know Him and have surrendered to Him. Do I see the depth of my sin and the greatness of Christ’s sacrifice for me? Am I relying on religious actions—or on a relationship with Jesus? If I stood before God today, would He say, “I know you”?

  • The People of the Kingdom | Luke 9:51-62
    2025/05/29

Luke 9:51-62 - Seth Kalhagen challenges us to examine what it truly means to follow Jesus—not just in word, but in wholehearted surrender. As Jesus turns toward Jerusalem, He meets both rejection and enthusiasm, but He tests the motives of would-be followers. Each encounter highlights the cost of discipleship: giving up comfort, reordering priorities, and holding even the dearest things in life—family, reputation, financial security—with open hands. Seth invites us to reflect honestly: Are we following Jesus on our terms, or His? Do we trust His goodness enough to let go of control? The call to follow is costly, but it leads to something eternal—life with Christ.

    2025/05/29

Luke 9:37-45 - Pastor Rob walks us from the awe of Jesus' transfiguration to a raw, real moment of spiritual battle, where Jesus heals a boy tormented by a demon. The contrast is intentional: glory on the mountain and brokenness in the valley. Through it, Rob urges us to see the bigger story—Jesus has come not just to shine, but to rescue. He reminds us that we live in a world still plagued by spiritual darkness and demons, yet Jesus holds all authority over it. We are invited into the ongoing story of redemption, not just to marvel at Jesus' power, but to share His victory with others. Do you recognize your place in God’s greater story? Where is your faith rooted—truly? And who around you needs to hear that Jesus has come to make all things new?
