Gabe’s short story, 40 Years Walking in the Wilderness, a lived experience testimony was included in the Anthology, What I Wish the World Would See and is currently available on Kindle.

    It's a special edition of The Brenda Fix! Brenda recently curated an art exhibit at Understudy, a free exhibition space housed in the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. The exhibit, "Disability Pride and The Arts", was open from October 7th - October 30th, 2022. It featured works by Luanne Burke, Merhia Wiese, Elliot Wiese, and Maggie Wiese.

    In today's episode, Brenda interviews Luanne Burke. Luanne is an accomplished sculptor, and in today's episode she and Brenda discuss how blindness affected Luanne's art, how the visual nature of dreams evolves after going blind, and other topics.
