We are here to share another side of the story of dating in your 30s. Through stories, laughter, tears and learning we want you to come along the journey with us as we navigate the chaotic world of relationships. Sometimes you just need to know that you’re not alone in the painful parts of life and that someone gets it. We’re here for that.

We are two counsellors using hope, laughter and authenticity to navigate this tricky part of life. We live busy, fulfilling lives while desiring to find the type of love that changes you. We both have plenty of experience in the ups and downs of dating & single life. We hope to share our stories of love, bravery, failure, heartbreak and hard earned wisdom.

We don’t apologise for our faith.

We don’t apologise for swearing.

We don’t apologise for being brave with our lives

And we don’t apologise for knowing what we deserve and not settling for less.

We hope that as you listen to our stories that you find a piece of your own story amongst them. Ultimately that is what it is all about right? While we are searching and connecting with the people meant to be in our lives we are also making sure we never lose ourselves along the way. So, I hope you join us on this journey as we navigate life, love, heartbreak, grief and joy. We see you out there and we’re with you.

    2025/06/25

This week on The Healing Project Podcast, we’re getting real about something we’ve all experienced but don’t always talk about: red flags in dating. If you’ve ever felt that pit in your stomach but brushed it off, stayed in a relationship longer than you should have, or doubted your own gut feelings — this one’s for you.

Too often, we’re taught to be polite, patient, or forgiving at our own expense. But ignoring early warning signs can lead to heartbreak, confusion, and years of trying to fix what was never safe to begin with.

    In this episode, you’ll hear:

    • The most common red flags to look out for in a potential partner
    • Subtle behaviors that might seem harmless but are worth paying attention to
    • Why love shouldn’t feel like walking on eggshells
    • How to trust yourself to leave when something doesn’t feel right

This is your permission slip to honour your boundaries, protect your peace, and believe that you are worthy of healthy, safe, respectful love — every single time.

💬 "If you're looking for some hope, listen to this episode and remind yourself that you can choose better next time."
