Meticulously tracking the deer's habits and using strategic land management techniques, Craig planned his hunt for early season success. He details overcoming a hot, challenging opening day, and finally succeeding under ideal wind conditions a week later. After a strategic setup in a small blind with tight wind controls, Craig got the perfect shot and harvested the massive trophy buck, epitomizing a three-year-long pursuit culminating in a high-reward finish.
