- Sharon Watson was reported missing on February 8 and her body was found on February 12 in a creek drainage below Forest Service Road 114, cause of death strangulation.
- James Osborne, age 51, checked Sharon in at Summit Sports Medicine on February 6 and handled equipment logistics with Peak Ready Rentals.
- On February 22 Douglas Farrell, age 38, was found dead in his white pickup at a highway pull-off with the hood unlatched and the engine cold; medical examiner ruled asphyxiation.
