In 2017, my husband received a phone call that would change the course of our lives.

The catch?

He had to accept the job that Friday, report to Florida that Wednesday, and the assignment was only supposed to last 30 days.

Our plan wasn't to move.

Our plan was for him to work the assignment while I stayed behind in Alabama.

But when we realized it wasn't just another temporary job—it was a real opportunity—I faced one of the hardest decisions of my life.

I walked away from a career I'd spent more than seven years building.

Left my oldest daughter with my sister so she could stay in school while we searched for a home.

Boarded a plane with my one-year-old son, two suitcases, and a diaper bag.

And stepped into a future I couldn't see.

Looking back, I realize God wasn't just moving us to Florida.

He was preparing us for a purpose I never imagined.

In this first episode of The Blueprint, I'm sharing the full story behind that decision and the lessons it taught me about faith, leadership, entrepreneurship, and taking the first step—even when nothing makes sense.
