  • The R&B Rundown Agenda | SZN 4 Episode 14
    2026/07/17

Is R&B really dead, or has the genre simply evolved?

This week, Micah B and Dupree are joined by guest host Michael Anthony for a full celebration of R&B music, culture, and the artists who continue to shape it.

The conversation covers Lauryn Hill’s legacy, Frank Ocean’s Blonde, Usher’s recent music, the artists carrying modern R&B forward, and why so many listeners believe the genre has lost its way. The crew also plays R&B This or That, builds the ultimate bedroom playlist, highlights underrated artists who deserve more attention, and reveals their personal Mount Rushmore of R&B albums.

From ’90s classics and 2000s favorites to today’s new generation, this episode is for anyone who has ever debated the greatest R&B artists, albums, songs, and eras.

  • The Community Check-In Agenda | SZN 4 Episode 13
    2026/07/03

This week, Micah B, Dupree, and Justin take a step back after another Pride season to ask one important question: What happens after Pride?

The conversation begins with a Letter From the Pushers that revisits the ongoing debate around Pride, sexuality, and respectability politics. The hosts reflect on the backlash from a previous conversation and explore why Pride can celebrate sexual freedom while remaining rooted in protest, visibility, advocacy, and community care.

From there, the crew checks in on the state of the Black LGBTQ+ community. They discuss supporting Black queer artists beyond Pride Month, the responsibility of creators and organizations, the impact of reality television and media exploitation, and why civic engagement, voting, and year-round community building matter just as much as showing up to Pride.

The episode also celebrates Black queer joy, entrepreneurship, local organizers, and the people creating meaningful spaces for our community every day. Honest, reflective, and rooted in love, this conversation is a reminder that Pride doesn’t end on June 30. The work, the joy, and the community continue all year long.

  • The Hot Seat Agenda | SZN 4 Episode 12
    2026/06/19

This week, Justin B. Smith, AP, and Dupree are in the hot seat, and nothing is off limits.

Presented by Jack’d, the crew kicks off Pride season with a conversation about dating apps, Pride weekends, friendship, relationships, self-sabotage, attraction, masculinity, and the lessons they’ve learned while navigating life as Black queer men. From building the perfect Black Pride starter pack to discussing what catches their attention on dating apps, the conversation quickly turns into something deeper.

The hosts open up about friendship evaluations, showing up for the people you love, the realities of dating, and the ways ego, fear, and past experiences can get in the way of meaningful connections. They also tackle bigger conversations around the Black gay community, respectability politics, anti-femininity, dating preferences, activism, and the responsibility we have to show up for one another.

Funny, vulnerable, messy, and surprisingly heartfelt, this episode reminds us that sometimes the hottest conversations happen when you’re willing to be honest.
