Do you have a question, submit it here.
Two words can redraw the map of your life: “But God.” When the pressure is on, when your past feels permanent, when faith starts to sound like a list of spiritual requirements, that small phrase points to a holy God who steps into the story and changes what comes next.
We open with a simple question: how do you describe God? From there, we use a quick grammar lesson to frame a deep spiritual reality. “But” is a conjunction, a pivot word, and Galatians 1 shows why that pivot matters. Paul faces critics who try to reshape the Christian message into “Jesus plus” rule-keeping. He pushes back hard, saying the gospel he preaches is not man-made, not inherited from tradition, and not earned through effort. It comes through Jesus Christ, and it offers rest instead of religious weight.
Then we track Paul’s life through three stages that can help you tell your own Christian testimony: pre-conversion, conversion, and post-conversion. Paul is deeply religious before Jesus, yet he is far from Christ. The turning point is pure grace: God calls him, reveals His Son, and gives him a mission. The result is a changed life that makes people glorify God, not the messenger. We end with a practical challenge to write your story the way Paul does and to share it as part of everyday evangelism and the Great Commission.
If this stirred something in you, listen all the way through, share it with a friend who feels stuck, and leave a review so more people can find the gospel of grace.
