このコンテンツについて
In this episode, Host Nancy Kowalik talks with John Belanger, Wine Maker at Coda Rossa Winery and Mike Feiser, Tasting Manager at Coda Rossa Winery.
The winery is named after the Italian word "coda rossa", which means "red tail," because of the red-tailed hawks that live near the farm. You can visit the beautiful vineyard and enjoy an afternoon of wine tasting or a relaxing stroll through the vines. Weather permitting, its outdoor patio provides a gorgeous view of the entire vineyard and breathtaking sunsets.
Coda Rossa Winery is a winery in the Franklinville section of Franklin Township in Gloucester County, New Jersey. The vineyard was first planted in 2002. The current owners obtained the property and winery in 2021, and Coda Rossa opened to the public in 2010. Coda Rossa has 10 acres of grapes under cultivation and produces 1,500 cases of wine per year.
Story Notes:
- Process of wine making and how the vineyard came to be.
