- A laminated Harwick Fidelity employee ID was found face-up in a storm drain culvert 40 feet from the bank’s rear loading dock.
- The badge was clean, dry, threaded on a black zip-tie, and lacked mud or scuff marks, indicating it was placed intentionally.
- At 8:20 a.m. an investigator arrived; by 8:31 a.m. the duty manager reported 47 safe-deposit boxes open on the vault floor.
- The bank had 312 total safe-deposit boxes; 47 were emptied, with doors set at an exact 45-degree angle.
- Approximately $2.3 million in cash, bearer instruments, and unset gemstones were taken without any perimeter alarm or motion sensor triggering.
