The day off worked. The Rangers came into Windsor and handled the Spitfires 6-3 with a four-goal lead that never felt in danger, even if the broadcast nearly put you to sleep. Windsor was handed seven power plays and scored on exactly none of them. Kitchener answered back with two shorthanded goals. Two. Luca Romano was the first star, Carson Campbell got the game winner, and the boys made the Spits look like they belonged in a different league. Series lead: 3-1.

Yeah, Windsor wasn't getting swept. We knew that. Two dumb penalties to start the game made things way harder than they needed to be, and the Spitfires made Kitchener pay almost immediately. The Rangers still outshot them 23 to 17, Arquette was good, and the sky is not falling. Series is still very much alive. On to Game 4.

Can we not just have an easy game? The AudBalls are back after another one that had no business being as stressful as it was. Windsor scored first, again, but the Rangers answered in the second with Sam O'Reilly's 12th goal in 11 games and Jack Pridham's shorty to go up 2-0 in the series. Then came 30 minutes of chippy, heated, borderline chaotic hockey with the refs getting in on the action too. Christian Kirsch was a wall when he needed to be, and Sam O'Reilly somehow hit both posts on an empty net. The Rangers move on up.
