We often take for granted the treasure we hold in our hands - the Word of God. This message challenges us to move beyond simply owning multiple Bibles to actually engaging with Scripture as the absolute authority in our lives. Drawing from Matthew 5:17-20, we're reminded that Jesus didn't come to abolish the law and prophets but to fulfill them, declaring that not even the smallest letter or stroke of a pen will disappear until everything is accomplished. The message powerfully illustrates that every part of Scripture - all 66 books - is God-breathed and essential. We're called to a three-fold relationship with God's Word: know it, believe it, and apply it. Knowledge without belief is empty intellectualism, and belief without application is meaningless orthodoxy. The transformative power comes when we build our lives on the solid foundation of doing what Scripture says. Like the wise builder in Jesus' parable, when storms come - and they will - our house stands firm because it's built on the rock of God's Word. This isn't cafeteria Christianity where we pick the promises and ignore the commands. We need the whole counsel of God to become the people He desires us to be.
