What originally started as a prompt to dive into how (annoyingly) particular and peculiar friends can be, sort of devolved into a very specific rant.

Are your friends just as neurotic, if not more, than Basher's friend? Or is this a very much isolated kind of incident?

Openly identifying and getting irritated by your friend's quirks while loving them anyway? That's life!

Just because you can list a bunch of facts about someone, that doesn't mean you actually know them. And there's a problem these days when people equate more facts to thinking it's a stronger friendship.
