This week, I talk about The Pineapple, Thief, 'The Freelancer's Blues', 'Yalda, A Night for Forgiveness', and 'Light of Day'. Credits: 'Los Angeles' and 'Claire' by Dougie Poole; 'Light of Day' directed by Paul Schrader; 'Driving Like Maniacs' and 'The Bitter Pill' by The Pinapple Thief. Note: My story about the development of 'Light of Day' was a little off, but I found this out after I produced the episode (shame!). They orginally wanted to call the film "'Born in the USA' - not the song. That title stuck with Bruce, and he attached it to something he already had cooking called 'Vietnam', and ended up calling the song 'Born in the USA', as we all know it, now.
