In our next episode of "The Power of She Chats", a special conversation series hosted by the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Phi Upsilon Zeta Chapter, serving Sterling, Virginia, we continue to celebrate our Finer Womanhood Observance. We are leaning into the core principles of our organization: Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and of course, Finer Womanhood.
Finer Womanhood isn't just an ideal; it is an action. It is found in the women who lead with grace, serve with conviction, and lift their communities as they climb. Today, we are highlighting a woman who embodies this 'Power of She'—someone who has transitioned from a career in the federal government to become a pillar of historic preservation in Loudoun County.
Donna Bohanon is a public historian, Lead Education Associate at Oatlands, and Chair of the Black History Committee of the Friends of the Thomas Balch Library. Donna’s work reminds us that our stories are our strength, and that by 'getting the story right,' we honor the full legacy of our community."
