  • Will Eskay | Soccer Moved Me To The Lou
    2025/07/11

Anthony and I were joined by Will Eskay this week on B-Side STL. Will hails from the mid-Atlantic coast world and happened across a St. Joe alum, that landed him in the 314. Now... he plays the game we all love and adore here in the Lou, that is... Soccer! As an ex D1 player, who now captains our St. Louis Ambush, in addition to his Director roll at St. Louis Stars Youth Soccer Club, Will and his wife, and his 1 year old, live in the CWE and have high hopes for the region. Brilliant chat with plenty to learn and more! #cwe #stlouis #affordable #rootsvswings #soccer #opportunity #family

    2. Ways to bring the Music and Movie industry back to MO
    3. Food assets
    4. And a spritely debate on what a "Foodie" is... and yes, we need help!

  • Alex Fabry | PE & The Silver Tsunami in STL
    2025/07/01

Alex Fabry is a moderate with simple, yet big ideas. The Chicago, via Boulder, via Palo Alto, via Austin, via back to Chicago, and now St. Louisan... eats rope provel like it's a bag of chips. But more importantly this Kellog grad has ideas and visions for the region that run counter to some of the louder more prevalant strategies and focuses. For example... population loss, in his view, isn't necessary a bad thing, and shifting focus from attracting to retaining is lower hanging fruit that would provide much greater community, business, and regional value. It felt like we solved a load of World (STL) problems, and possibly didn't. But!!! It was a great conversation that pushed the envelope on what could be, what is, what should be talked about, and what should be ignored here in our resources rich flyover country!!! Give Alex a follow on LinkedIn for more of his services and insight: Alex Fabry on LinkedIn #stlouis #privateequity #wealth #silvertsunami #regionaldevelopment #moderate
