In the first podcast of this series, I ended with a discussion on Talmudic evidence for Yahshua as Messiah as early as 30CE. Comparing information from both Talmudic references we find that both Talmuds recorded the same information, indicating that the knowledge of the events described in the first podcast were generally accepted by the mainstream Jewish community.

In this podcast, I describe four miracles associated with the strange repeating results of the lot system used to designate the "scapegoat" and the goat to be offered as a complete sacrifice for the L-rd.

In the next podcast in this series, I will address the cultural and legal context of genealogy as it relates to Jewish law and how Yahshua fits the requirements of the prophesied Prophet, Priest. and King/Messiah.

This response is recorded in sections due to the plethora of information provided. I hope Jews and Gentiles who want to understand the truth that neither the Old Testament nor the "New" testament can exist without the other. Just as road signs are meant to guide us to what is ahead, so the prophecies in the Tanakh provide guidance and information that leads us to Yahshua as Prophet, Priest, and King; the soon-to return Messiah.

In this podcast we will discover what Habakkuk's name which translates as "wrestler" really means and how it most certainly applies to each of us as we continue to live in these end times. Careful and prayerful study of this book will open our minds to the fact that G-d is in control, has a plan for mankind, and that we must learn to place our trust in what G-d says he will do will certainly come to past as proven through history up to the current day.

I will also "show" that G-d's laws are not dead and that we will all be held accountable for our life choices. It is time to turn our hearts toward "home" as did Habakkuk who learned these lessons that G-d had put in writing for our benefit.

This week I am going to clarify the often misinterpreted " eye for an eye" expression that correctly translates as " an eye's worth for an eye" and means so something much different than what most people are taught in their religious institutions.

The second major topic is an explanation of the term "Assyrian" and "Assyria" which has significant import in relation to our current world situation.

Zechariah and Haggai were contemporaries who wrote to encourage the rebuilding of the Temple after the return from the Babylonian captivity. However, they both looked into the prophetic future with G-d giving them visions of major events yet to come. I submit understanding these visions and what they represent are extremely important to us today as we continue to progress toward the end of days.

We are now living in the end times, and this can easily be verified by referring to Mattew 24 and other prophecies made by both the major and minor prophets, including Moshe (Moses). Let us make time to carefully and prayerfully study the Word of G-d, repent through the blood of the Lamb (Rom. 3:25; 2 Pet. 1:9), and learn to walk according to His law/commands/instructions with love while it is still day.

This week's Torah commentary includes both parashot read together in regular years. These parashot are wonderfully and inextricably connected, teaching us that G-d is a G-d of detail, and details matter; and that we are to live our lives applying the concepts of the sacrificial system to our lives and follow G-d's commands/laws/instructions as true believers in the post Temple period are part of the new priesthood described in 1 Peter 2:9.

In keeping with the subject of prophecy and the end times in which we are living, I am going to discuss King Hezekiah's legacy, the health issue with which he suffered, G-d's cure, and its prophetic significance.

Today we are going to explore Obadiah's prophecy that is mainly concerned with the nations, particularly Edom. I will provide a perspective that perhaps "Edom" in modern times refers to the United States. Edom is also a reference to the Roman Empire and the Catholic Church. There is much more to be learned concerning this concept, but today, the focus will be on Edom, the United States, the Roman Empire, and the plans G-d has in place for the "Day of the L-rd."
