"Romel Sylne Jr is a Haitian-American writer, author, and poet dedicated to inspiring resilience in the face of adversity. He is the author of several poetry books: "Where Footsteps Lead Me," "When Black Boys Cry", "She is...", "A War Between Two Lands," and most recently "Heading Home Soon"."

In this episode. we got to hear Romel's incredible backstory that led to where he is today and learned about the origins/inspirations of each of his books!

For the PENULTIMATE episode of the inaugural season, we've welcomed Gianni, a math teacher, to come talk about his passion for teaching, an outlook on the new generation of kids and his thoughts on the local school system. A kinesiologist turned restaurateur?!
