Should we take God seriously? it may seem a stupid question to ask, in a way. We’re dealing with someone here who could blink his eyes and start the Big Bang. God spoke the word, and out of that comes a universe that is some 14 billion light years across. That’s who we’re talking about here, with that kind of power.
