  • Kyle Shilling (Dancing with the Stars)
    2025/08/05

Dancing with the Stars 2025 has officially wrapped, and what a sensational finale it was. After weeks of dazzling routines, celebrity surprises, and high-stakes eliminations, it was Home and Away star Kyle Shilling who emerged victorious, taking home the mirrorball trophy in one of the most memorable finales in the show’s history.

Dancing alongside professional partner Lily Cornish, Kyle brought the audience to tears—and to their feet—with a deeply personal and powerful final performance. The routine, set to “Native Tongue”, fused contemporary dance with cultural storytelling and even featured Kyle playing the didgeridoo live on stage.

Judge Helen declared it “one of the best performances” she’s ever seen on the show, and it earned a perfect score from the panel. But beyond the glitter and gold, Kyle’s win was also one with heart—he secured $20,000 for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation, a cause close to his heart.

In this exclusive podcast interview with TV Central, Kyle Shilling opens up about the road to the finale, the meaning behind that final performance, and what’s next in his already impressive career.

🎧 In This Episode of TV Central: One on One, Kyle Shilling Talks About:

    • The preparation and emotion behind his powerful final performance with Lily Cornish
    • The personal story behind the “Native Tongue” routine and why it was so important to him
    • His early life journey, leaving home at 17 to pursue dance and turning away from a difficult path
    • His twin brother Jesse, and growing up being the “less famous” twin
    • The highs and surprises of his Dancing with the Stars experience
    • Working with Lynne McGranger on Home and Away and her legacy ahead of Irene’s farewell
    • What’s next for his character on Home and Away
    • Where he wants to go next, with acting, dancing, and music all in his creative arsenal

Kyle’s final performance wasn’t just a competition piece—it was a cultural moment. His passion, vulnerability, and artistic expression resonated with viewers across the country.

“While it was deeply personal for you,” host Aaron Ryan told Kyle, “it resonated far beyond the dancefloor… it connected with audiences across the country.”

Kyle Shilling continues to inspire as both a performer and a voice for Indigenous representation in mainstream media—and if this season of Dancing with the Stars is anything to go by, he’s just getting started.

  • Denham Hitchcock (10 News+)
    2025/07/26

Today, we’re joined by one of Australia’s most fearless and compelling journalists — Denham Hitchcock. A familiar face to viewers across the country, Denham’s career has spanned war zones, natural disasters, political unrest, and deeply personal, human stories that demand to be told. Now, he's anchoring the groundbreaking new current affairs program, 10 NEWS+, bringing his signature storytelling style to a bold new format.

This isn’t just another news bulletin. 10 NEWS+ promises real journalism, in-depth investigation, and stories that matter — the kind often missed in the high-speed churn of nightly news cycles. Anchored by Denham alongside Amelia Brace, the show is a full-circle moment for Network 10, as it commits to meaningful, long-form storytelling in a primetime slot.

But there’s another side to Denham — the man who once walked away from the newsroom entirely, sold everything, moved his young family onto a boat, and set sail in search of purpose. That journey — as bold as any international assignment — shaped his perspective and continues to inform his work today.

In this episode of TV Central: One on One, we talk about the evolution of journalism, the growing demand for trustworthy storytelling, and how a life at sea changed everything.

    🎙️ In the Podcast:

    • The vision behind 10 NEWS+ and what viewers can expect
    • Why long-form journalism is more important now than ever
    • What makes 10 NEWS+ stand out in a crowded news landscape
    • The on-air dynamic with co-anchor Amelia Brace
    • How the show plans to combat misinformation with fact-first reporting
    • What conversations have been had around ratings — and why 10 NEWS+ is a long game
    • How long-term habit change in the news space requires patience and persistence
    • Dealing with public and media feedback — the compliments, critiques, and format tweaks
    • Whether the show is evolving in response to viewer input or staying the course
    • Denham’s journalistic philosophy shaped by global conflict reporting
    • The most emotional or unforgettable stories he’s covered
    • How he mentally and emotionally prepares for high-stakes reporting
    • Reflections on how the media has changed — and what still rings true
    • The remarkable decision to sell everything and move onto a boat with his family
    • What sailing the world taught him about freedom, family, and identity
    • Highlights from life at sea — unforgettable destinations, encounters, and moments
    • A sneak peek at what’s coming up on 10 NEWS+

Denham Hitchcock has always reported with integrity, urgency, and heart — and now, with 10 NEWS+, he’s helping redefine what current affairs can look like in 2024. This is a fresh format, an ambitious shift for Network 10, and a platform that allows powerful stories to breathe. Ratings take time, but the vision is clear — and Denham is the right person to bring it to life.

🎧 10 NEWS+ airs Sunday to Friday on 10, or stream anytime on 10 Play.

Today, I’m thrilled to welcome a true icon of Aussie television — Scott Cam, long-time host of The Block and one of the country’s most recognisable faces. With 19 seasons under his belt, Scott returns this year to lead the renovation juggernaut in a brand-new location: Daylesford, Victoria’s spa capital.

Over the years, Scott has overseen 103 home renos, mentored 186 contestants, and handed out more than $39 million in prize money. Off-camera, he’s a Gold Logie winner, family man, new grandfather, and a bloke who loves his farm in Mudgee.

In this episode of TV Central: One on One, we dive into the new season, life behind the camera, and what’s next for this Aussie legend.

    🔨 What’s in the Podcast
    • This season strips things back, with a focus on hard work and real renovation
