Today I’m sitting down with a dear friend and role model of mine—Kate Griffin. Kate is an entrepreneur, musician, worship leader, mom of four, and the founder of Pittsburgh School of the Arts, a thriving private music school with two locations, over 30 teachers, and over 250 students. With years of experience in ministry and worship leading to now running her own small business, Kate carries a depth of wisdom and a steady, faith-filled perspective that I know will encourage you.

In our conversation, she opens up about the challenges of balancing motherhood, marriage, and entrepreneurship. She shares about the power of your yes and your no, and how tuning in to the Holy Spirit helps her discern the pace of each season—when to move forward boldly, when to slow down, and how to keep her relationship with God, her husband, and her kids at the forefront of it all.

Kate also talks about leadership, the importance of being a lifelong learner, and the power that comes when you release fear—especially the fear of failure. What if I told you I had the best news you’re ever gonna hear?

Do you really know who Jesus is, what he did, and what that has to do with you?

I’m Sara Bannister, the host of the Truly Life Podcast. I’m a wife, mom, musician, and most importantly a follower of Jesus, and today I’m sharing the GOSPEL—the Good News about Jesus and eternal life in Him!

In this episode, we’ll start from the beginning with how God created the world and everyone in it with the desire to have a relationship with us. Then we’ll talk about the problem of sin and how it separates us from God. And that will bring us to God’s solution—Jesus—the son of God who came to earth and died on a cross to pay the punishment for our sin. Salvation is a free gift from God if only we accept Him, repent, and believe in Jesus.

If you have decided to put your faith in Jesus, your next steps are to get involved in a local church, get baptized, and GROW in your relationship with God!
