Message: The church was never meant to remain behind closed doors. After His resurrection, Jesus commissioned His disciples to continue His mission by taking the hope of the Gospel to the world. That same commission belongs to every believer today. This message reminds the church that our identity is inseparable from our mission. We have been forgiven so we can proclaim forgiveness, encouraged so we can encourage others, and sent so the world may know Christ. The church is not merely a place we attend—it is a people who are sent.
