And the reason it’s so heavy is because I am balancing this massive production line in the quiet, exhausting spaces in-between intense, full-time caregiving. So, why keep going? Because of the "Why." I wrote these books for the next generation using the fun, whimsical Surf Soup® style to teach ocean conservation, share my Chinese American heritage, and promote inclusion. I am doing the heavy lifting now to ensure these messages are preserved in permanent, long-lasting hardcovers that outlast us all.
