HARVEST (2): The Food of Jesus Psalm 126:5–6 | John 4:6–8, 35–42 | Matthew 6:33 | Proverbs 17:22 | Romans 10:15 In this soul-stirring episode, we uncover the mystery of what truly satisfies Jesus: the salvation of souls. Though physically weary and hungry from His journey, Jesus chose to engage in a life-transforming conversation with the Samaritan woman, a moment that fed His soul and led to the salvation of an entire city. Key Revelations: - Soul-winning is the food of Jesus. His hunger for salvation far outweighed His physical need for food. This divine priority reveals the true feeding order: spirit → soul → body, not the reverse. - The harvest is nourishment. Every soul won is a meal for the soul, a healing for the body, and a joy for the heart. “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy…” (Psalm 126:5–6) - The pressing need of the soul overrides the pressing need of the body. When the soul is fed, the body aligns. This is Kingdom alignment, where spiritual fulfillment brings physical restoration. - Soul-winning beautifies the soul. As Romans 10:15 declares, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news…” The gospel is not just a message, it’s a meal that rejuvenates the messenger and the hearer. - Jesus at the well is our model. He ignored His weariness to reach one woman whose heart was ready. That one encounter became a city-wide revival. There is someone today whose soul is ripe for harvest, will you take your sickle? This teaching is a call to every believer: prioritize the harvest. Feed your soul with what feeds Christ. Let soul-winning become your sustenance, your joy, and your healing.
