Welcome to Ontario Community Church's Sermon Podcast.
Today, Pastor Patrick Dailey preaches on Revelation 2:12-17 with the sermon titled: Sword and Stone: Repent. Remain. Receive.
Jesus commends the church at Pergamum for holding fast to His name where Satan's throne is. Yet He confronts them for tolerating false teaching, the teaching of Balaam and the Nicolaitans, which led to idol worship and immorality. We'll explore what it means to refuse compromise, choose Christ's table over the world's feasts, honor God with our bodies, and receive the hidden manna and white stone with a new name.
Connected readings include: Numbers 25:1-3; Numbers 31:16; Exodus 16:32-34; 1 Corinthians 10:18-21; 1 Corinthians 6:13, 19-20; John 6:31-35.
May we hold fast to Christ's name and remain faithful to Him alone.
