Suspense presents “Nightmare,” episode 3, originally broadcast March 1, 1948. This full-hour thriller stars Eddie Bracken in a dramatic role and is adapted by Alfred Palker from Cornell Woolrich’s story “And So to Death,” later published as “Nightmare.”

Vince Hardy wakes from a terrifying dream of a mirrored room and a violent attacker—only to find troubling marks and clues that seem to have followed him into waking life. As a police friend helps investigate, Vince must decide whether the nightmare was imagination or a warning of something very real.
