Radio disc jockey Smiley Smith turns stunt night into a ghost hunt at an isolated Malibu house haunted by a grim reputation. Joined by psychic-phenomena investigator Dr. Clarence Reed, Smiley plans to document the night on wire recording. Ralph Edwards stars as Smiley Smith, with Joseph Kearns as Dr. Reed; the story was adapted for radio by Walter Newman from an original tale by H. R. Wakefield.
Suspense presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned and mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
