Suspense presents “Devilstone,” episode 945, originally broadcast on CBS Radio on September 30, 1962. This Jonathan Bundy script—the pseudonym of Jack Johnstone—was the final broadcast of the long-running series.

In Dublin, Timothy Martin inherits Devilstone, a long-abandoned castle in Northern Ireland. Ignoring warnings about its grim reputation, he plans to rent the property—until prospective tenants return badly shaken. With his butler Everts and dog Kim, Martin journeys to the isolated family estate to discover why the locals fear it. Christopher Cary stars as Timothy Martin in this Fred Hendrickson production.
