There is no more sacred spiritual work than protecting a child.

When I talk about spiritual awakening, I'm usually talking about meditation, energy work, consciousness—the internal journey. But today, we're talking about the external battle. The battle protective parents fight in family court when the system meant to protect their children is failing them.

My guest is Dr. Sandra Speer, a legal advocate who stands with these parents as they face a system that too often prioritizes abusers' rights over children's safety.
